Playback singer, Actor, Performer. 

Resmi Satheesh is a versatile Indian playback singer, actor, and performer from Kerala. She is best known for her soulful songs in Malayalam cinema and her powerful stage presence.

A graduate in Audiography from the Satyajit Ray Film & Television Institute, Kolkata, Resmi’s passion for cinema extends beyond the stage. She has also worked behind the scenes as a location sound recordist in Malayalam films.

As an actor, Resmi has been featured in notable movies, including 22 Female Kottayam.

Her impact, however, is most felt on the stage with her music band, ReSa. Known for her dynamic performances, she is a vocal advocate for social causes, lending her voice and music to numerous protests. She gained widespread recognition for her viral rendition of “Ini varunnoru thalamurakk ivide vaasam sadhyamo,” performed during the Nilppu Samaram (standing protest) organized by the Adivasi Gothra Maha Sabha in Fort Kochi.

മലയാളത്തിലെ പ്രശസ്തയായ ചലച്ചിത്ര പിന്നണി ഗായിക. അഭിനേത്രി, അവതാരക എന്നീ നിലകളിലും പ്രശസ്തയാണ് രശ്മി സതീഷ്. മലയാള സിനിമയിലെ വേറിട്ട ഗാനങ്ങളുടേയും  വേദികളിലെ അതിഗംഭീര സംഗീത പ്രകടനങ്ങളുടേയും പേരിലാണ് അവർ കൂടുതൽ അറിയപ്പെടുന്നത്.

കൊൽക്കത്തയിലെ സത്യജിത് റേ ഫിലിം & ടെലിവിഷൻ ഇൻസ്റ്റിറ്റ്യൂട്ടിൽ നിന്ന് ഓഡിയോഗ്രാഫിയിൽ ബിരുദം. വിവിധ മലയാള സിനിമകളിൽ ലൊക്കേഷൻ സൗണ്ട് റെക്കോർഡിസ്റ്റായും പിന്നണിയിൽ പ്രവർത്തിച്ചു. 

 ’22 -ഫീമെയിൽ കോട്ടയം’ ഉൾപ്പെടെയുള്ള ശ്രദ്ധേയമായ സിനിമകളിൽ  അഭിനയിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്.
സ്വന്തം സംഗീത ബാൻഡായ റെസ(ReSa) യുടെ വേദി- പ്രകടങ്ങളിലൂടെ ഒരു കലാകാരി എന്ന നിലയിൽ ജനങ്ങളെ സ്വാധീനിച്ചു. സാമൂഹിക പ്രസക്തമായ കാര്യങ്ങൾക്കായി നിരന്തരം വാദിക്കുകയും നിരവധി പ്രതിഷേധങ്ങൾക്ക് തന്റെ ശബ്ദവും സംഗീതവും നൽകുകയും ചെയ്തു. ആദിവാസി ഗോത്ര മഹാസഭ ഫോർട്ട് കൊച്ചിയിൽ സംഘടിപ്പിച്ച നിൽപ്പ് സമരത്തിൽ അവതരിപ്പിച്ച “ഇനി വരുന്നൊരു തലമുറക്ക് ഇവിടെ വാസം സാദ്ധ്യമോ..” എന്ന നാടൻ പാട്ടിന്റെ വൈറൽ അവതരണത്തോടെയാണ് രശ്മി സതീഷ് കൂടുതൽ ശ്രദ്ധിക്കപ്പെട്ടത്.
