Ashwathy Senan

Researcher, Translator, Writer.

Aswathy Senan is a researcher, translator and writer based out of Delhi. She works on issues of gender, resistance and social justice and designing pedagogical methods to understand them. She has obtained her PhD from University of Delhi. She has been closely associated with The Media Collective and The Research Collective based out of Delhi. Currently she is working with Break Free from Plastic movement.

ഡൽഹി ആസ്ഥാനമാക്കി പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്ന ഒരു ഗവേഷകയും, വിവർത്തകയും, എഴുത്തുകാരിയുമാണ് അശ്വതി സേനൻ. ലിംഗഭേദം, പ്രതിരോധം, സാമൂഹിക നീതി തുടങ്ങിയ വിഷയങ്ങളിലും അവയെക്കുറിച്ച് പഠിക്കാനുള്ള pedagogical രീതികൾ രൂപകൽപ്പന ചെയ്യുന്നതിലും അവർ പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്നു. ഡൽഹി യൂണിവേഴ്സിറ്റിയിൽ നിന്നാണ് അവർക്ക് പിഎച്ച്.ഡി ലഭിച്ചത്. ഡൽഹി ആസ്ഥാനമായുള്ള ‘ദി മീഡിയ കളക്ടീവ്’, ‘ദി റിസർച്ച് കളക്ടീവ്’ എന്നിവയുമായി അവർക്ക് അടുത്ത ബന്ധമുണ്ട്. നിലവിൽ ‘ബ്രേക്ക് ഫ്രീ ഫ്രം പ്ലാസ്റ്റിക്’ മൂവ്‌മെൻ്റുമായി സഹകരിച്ച് പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്നു.
