Arundhati Roy is best known as the author of The God of Small Things, which won the Booker Prize in 1997 and has been translated into more than forty languages, and The Ministry of Utmost Happiness, which was long-listed for the Man Booker Prize 2017. Roy has also
published several works of non-fiction, including The Algebra of Infinite Justice, Listening to
Grasshoppers, Broken Republic and most recently Azadi: Freedom, Fascism, Fiction. 

Early in her career, Roy worked in television and movies as a writer and actor, even winning the National Film Award for Best Screenplay in 1988 for In Which Annie Gives it Those Ones. Roy is also a political activist involved in human rights and environmental causes. 
She lives in Delhi.

ശ്രദ്ധിക്കപ്പെട്ടിരുന്നു.
